Conditions

Rheumatology conditions we treat.

Autoimmune disease, arthritis, and chronic joint pain. Two providers. Real listening before any plan.

How we approach rheumatology

Three things patients tell us are different here.

01

Diagnostic precision

Rheumatic diseases mimic each other constantly. We test thoroughly — the right diagnosis matters more than the fastest one. Misdiagnosis here means years of wrong treatment.

02

Modern + biologic options

RA, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis often respond to biologic medications when older drugs don't. We use what actually works for your case.

03

Long-term partnership

These are chronic conditions. We're your team for years, not just one visit — adjusting treatment as your disease evolves and life changes.

25 rheumatologic conditions we treat

From the most common to the most complex — our rheumatology team handles the full range.

Ankylosing Spondylitis

Inflammatory spine condition. Anti-inflammatories and biologic options to slow progression and maintain mobility.

Arthritis & Rheumatic Diseases

The umbrella category. We diagnose and manage the full spectrum of inflammatory and degenerative joint conditions.

Back Pain

When chronic back pain has an inflammatory or autoimmune cause. We rule out spondyloarthritis and treat the underlying issue.

Bursitis

Inflammation of the fluid-filled sacs cushioning your joints. Conservative treatment plus targeted injections when needed.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Median nerve compression at the wrist. We diagnose and manage non-surgically — referring out when surgery is the right call.

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Persistent debilitating fatigue with no obvious cause. We rule out endocrine and autoimmune drivers before treating.

Fibromyalgia Syndrome

Chronic widespread pain. Integrative approach combining medications, sleep optimization, graded exercise, and stress management.

Giant Cell Arteritis

Inflammation of large blood vessels. Urgent diagnosis — untreated vision loss is a real risk.

Gout

Uric acid arthritis causing acute, severe joint attacks. Acute treatment plus long-term prevention strategies.

Knee Problems

Inflammatory or degenerative knee conditions. Joint injections, medication, and coordinated care with orthopedics when indicated.

Osteoarthritis

Wear-and-tear joint disease. Pain management, joint injections, and lifestyle modifications to keep you moving.

Osteopenia

Pre-osteoporosis bone density loss. Prevention and monitoring before fractures happen.

Osteoporosis

Bone density management including infusions. We coordinate with our endocrinology team for comprehensive bone health.

Paget's Disease of Bone

Disordered bone remodeling causing weakened, deformed bones. Bisphosphonates and ongoing monitoring.

Polymyalgia Rheumatica

Muscle pain and stiffness in older adults. Steroid management with careful monitoring for related conditions.

Polymyositis & Dermatomyositis

Inflammatory muscle diseases causing weakness, sometimes with skin involvement. Often treated with immunosuppressants.

Psoriatic Arthritis

Arthritis associated with psoriasis. Biologic medications can address both joint and skin symptoms together.

Reactive Arthritis

Joint inflammation triggered by infection elsewhere in the body. Usually self-limiting with proper treatment.

Rheumatic Diseases

Catch-all for systemic inflammatory and autoimmune conditions affecting joints and connective tissue.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Inflammatory autoimmune arthritis. Traditional DMARDs and biologic infusions to manage symptoms and prevent joint damage.

Scleroderma

Connective tissue disease causing skin tightening and internal organ involvement. Multi-specialty coordination.

Shoulder Problems

Inflammatory or autoimmune-related shoulder conditions. Diagnostic injections and conservative management.

Sjögren's Syndrome

Dry eyes, dry mouth, and joint pain. Symptom management and immune modulation to improve quality of life.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

SLE — a multi-system autoimmune disease requiring careful monitoring across organ systems.

Tendonitis

Inflammation of tendons. Conservative treatment, targeted injections, and addressing underlying causes.
