Barbara Gamez Chang, APRN
Barbara Gamez Chang is a U.S. Board-Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who works alongside Dr. Adam Barron on the rheumatology side of the practice. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Miami Regional University in 2020 and has been practicing in Palm Beach County since 2021. Barbara is fluent in English and Spanish.
Barbara brings nearly three decades of medical training to her patients. She earned her medical degree at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba in 1996 and completed her residency in Family Medicine in Cuba, practicing in several clinics over the following years. In 2005 she became a Board-Certified General Practitioner with The Medical Council of Jamaica, where she served as an Internal Medicine Resident at Spanish Town Hospital and worked in the emergency department and family practice — including rheumatology — at Medical Associates Hospital. She moved to the United States in 2016 and went on to earn her APRN certification.
